Was this vehicle being towed when it hit the bridge? Or did the driver leave the roof up?

Looks like the driver is in background, holding his head. HHMMMM how do I explain this one

  3. carhaulerdispatch, it was being towed. I saw a picture form another angle that showed the tow lights still on the front of the hauler.

The truck was being towed backwards by the tow company. They must not be able to read bridge height signs. I would have liked to have a hidden camera in the cab when it hit to see the look on his face!

They are the worst to tow. The company I worked for would only front tow them after removing the front tires this way we were 13 ft 6. I had to take a burned unit to cotrell and could not get permits to tow it as a unit had to split it and use 2 wreckers. That rear tow had to be up near 14 ft if not more.
