When you or your driver click the loaded or delivered icon, then customers or loads that have been opted in will receive email notification. If this is a feature that you would like to use, have your main admin insert the email that you would like the notifications sent from into the field provided in his Admin section. If your customer responds to the email with additional questions or instructions, you will receive them at this address.
There are two different ways to use the feature. A customer can be opted in to receive notifications anytime a load is being moved for him. Entered, assigned, loaded, and delivered are all potential triggers for the emails. You just opt the customer in according to his preferences. There is a field to enter the email where your customer would prefer to be notified at. If a customer would like more than one person notified, you can enter multiple emails in that field, but they must be separated by comas. When you are placing an order you will see a similar section near the bottom of the page. It functions the same, except that it ONLY applies to the one specific load it is done on.
