I am really confused, because I didn’t say anything to get kicked off. Except I didn’t hide the fact that I was not a union driver. Heck I’m no longer a driver at all, I sell software now.

Hey Johnny, any of the union guys are welcome on our forum as well. I think there are many of them like Rocky that want a confidential union only discussion. Doesn’t look like you or I are offering that at this point.

I posted on that site for a long time. The owner had become a real dictator. I went by the user name of Muler. I now have my own site along with my partner Docker. It is called oldschoolteamsters.com
It is open to all truck drivers both union and non union. We also have forums for all Teamster divisions. We welcome drivers and dock workers from all companies to come join and lets hear what life’s lessons you have learned. I hope to see many of you posting. Thanks to this site for a chance to talk to you all.

I can’t stand that place anymore. They seem to think that they are the only forum that we can go to. How many people have been banned from there for just criticizing the way they over moderate? Now that they are on the “International Blog Roll” they are a ton worse!!! Thanks for exposing them Transportfool!!!

TeamsterOnline may be a friendly place if you are walking in lockstep with everyone else. If you have stong opinions that differ from the majority of the community you are quickly ostracized by the moderators.
Some of the moderators are really out of control, one in particular who calls himself WestCoast (many of us call him Wet Toast) seems to think he is god, and will delete any post he disagrees with.

I started posting at TeamsterOnline because I thought it would be an intelligent forum where varied opinions could be presented and discussed. Nothing could be further from the truth.
If you are looking for spirited discussion this place is a time waster.

Hey Dave,
I wouldn’t read too much into it. It’s nothing personal. We are just trying to keep it Union. Every forum we (Teamster members) go we have to deal with people who don’t like us because of it, so it’s nice to just have a forum to go to where we are among brothers.

I also realize that you weren’t debating and causing a ruckus out on the open forums. I Thank you for that. So the ban almost seemed unwarranted.

I personally have no problems at all with you or your site here, and have checked in several times.

I doubt that they are actually checking the union rosters. I think I got tagged because I made no effort to conceal who I was and that I was not union. But now that you posted here you are probably a marked man!!!
