Back in the '60's, many of the old 4-car trailers with a porch added to the top front. It worked well without a headrack and when a small unit like this Renault was loaded, it even worked with a headrack. Look at the KAT F7 Ford in my photostream.

I can understand the need for the space when it is a "porch" setup. Just seems like a waste of space when it is an actual headrack.

Dave, are you thinking too much space? I thought you meant too close.

<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/c…..555952252/" title="!966 Dodge &quot;Roadway&quot; Canada by PAcarhauler, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm4.staticflickr.com/…..2fcb91.jpg" width="500" height="391" alt="!966 Dodge &quot;Roadway&quot; Canada"></a>

The Roadway Dodge is similar but I think it has a longer wheelbase and the extention at the rear of the H/R. I think the Citicar H/R ends at the back of the cab and the trailer might be extended front to meet it.

How do you get photos from flickr to here like you did? I can do it from Photobucket but not flickr?

Yes I was thinking too much space.

I think on flicker you have to view another size before it lets you copy image location to link it over here easily.

According to my thoughts, Auto Transport Shipping Companies must use slide work while loading cars.
