Man charged with stealing his own truck
SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. – A man is behind bars after he tried to steal his own truck early Monday morning in Orange County.
It happened around midnight when the man jumped a fence at the Airport Towing Company near Narcoossee Road in south Orange County. He jumped into a tractor-trailer, a car hauler containing three vehicles, and took off. The man crashed the truck through the gate and sped off.
I am surprised that the drive shaft was still in it. When I drove tow truck I would NEVER pull a big rig into impound with out pulling the drive shaft or axles for fear they would try to blame me for any trans troubles.
